Taking a WW1 tour with John Goodman is like going back in time. There wasn't a question he couldn't answer. He brought the everyday struggles and losses of ordinary soldiers, men and women to life. When I visited with the two young brothers John had researched for me and who had died and were buried mere miles apart I was moved to tears. In visiting these young boys graves I genuinely felt I was finally bringing them part of them home. It was a trip I'll remember for a lifetime.

I was delighted with the research John carried out for me on my family. The level of detail was amazing & the presentation was professional yet thoughtful.

John has an extensive knowledge of all the WW1 battlefields and can give a personalised tour tailored to each participantís interest. Added to his detailed understanding of the battled, John provides a great insight to the human side of this conflict. I would thoroughly recommend his tours.

Had problems with a branch of our family whose names we could not make head or tail of. John came to the rescue, sorted all that out, and discovered very interesting and important WW1 involvement for a couple of my great-uncles. I was very pleased with the depth and detail of John's information. At last I can put that end of the family 'to bed'. Loved John's presentation too.
